Carrots...

This morning Calvin tried carrots for the first time...

This morning Calvin was sitting at the table in his Bumbo chair, waiting patiently for Daddy to make his cereal bottle.

1st Dip in the Pool

Friday, after work, we took a family trip down to the pool. Calvin wasn't too sure what to make of the large "tub". As you can tell from the photos he took the pool time seriously.

A wet hat is always good in the summer.

Mother's Day

The Friday before Mother's Day we went in and had a few photos taken to celebrate Calvin's 5th month, Mother's Day, Father's Day and our family. Each grandparent/great grandparent will be receiving a photo when they arrive. FYI due to copyrights these photos may not be resizable and may print with low/poor resolution.

On Mother's Day Uncle Kevin & Aunt Kristy invited the whole family to celebrate Mother's Day with an amazing BBQ. Due to the great time we were having with everyone very few photos were taken, however, Clint was able to catch these wonderful moments of Uncle Kevin, Cousin Kasey, and Clavin.

Whew--100 degrees is just too hot!
Clint soaked his Sparky the Dog book then planted it on his head--Cal seemed to appreciate the coolness.

I'm 5 Months Old!!!

Today our son is 5 months old; it's incredible how fast the months have flown by us. As of today he can sit fairly well by himself, roll from front to back, stand with support, make motor boat sounds, lifts arms for "up", uses his potty, and eating new foods. Yesterday Calvin had his first taste of sweet potatoes and successfully ate off his spoon; since introduced, Cal has been rebeling against the spoon. With sweet potatoes and cereal, however, he could no longer resist.

This is the very outfit he wore home from the hospital. On 12/7 this outfit engulfed our tiny son and as of 5/1 he will never wear it again; his feet have out grown it.

Grandmom Came to Town...

Grandmom Teresa came to visit us for about 5 days. During her visit we played, went shopping, went to K-Street Mall, Old Town Sacramento, and Ikea. While Mom was here she even got an opportunity to take Calvin to the potty...

New things...

Within the last few weeks Calvin has made great leaps and bounds in his development; recently he as learned how to roll from his front to his back, he is able to stand while holding onto something for support, he is able to sit while supporting himself with his hands on the floor, and he is starting to make "motor boat" noises.

Pooh Bear ROCKS!

I luv u Pooh Bear
