Lazy Days...

This is the same outfit that Calvin came home in on Dec. 7th. Now, he can almost fill the outfit, when we brought him home you could barely find him in the sleeper. There's a photo of Calvin's home coming in the "Here he is..." post.

Even though we were almost fully reclined in the chair I still had to sprawl out to make room for Calvin's choice of sleep postion

-- Say what?
-Calvin and his Daddy were chillin' on the bed listening to Jazz/Classical on Calvin's radio. Cal likes our alarm/radio/sound machine/light show so much that it has now become his.

Surrounded by my pals

Aunt Becke new what was ahead when she picked up this bib

Thank you Colleen F. for the wondeful sweater, hat, & blanket sets. Colleen (Aunt Bec's Mom) made Cal two gorgeous sweaters, a hat and a blanket to welcome him into the world.

Trip to Yuba City

On Sunday, 1/20/08, we went to Yuba City to visit family and to introduce Calvin to those he had not seen yet. The trip was a lot of fun, it was great to see every one and to spend a day away from home. Thank you all for the wonderful time & great food!!

Calvin, being lovingly held by his cousin Kaitlyn

Cousin Kasey--always adorable and energetic

Calvin's cousin, Kyrie, was enjoying her time with him so much that it was hard for her to pass him off to the next person. Joining Calvin and Kyrie was her friend, Mya.

Cousin Alex

Whew, what a busy time...

Calvin's onsie: What happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's--a foreshadowing of what's to come

Check out the do

Lately, one of Cal's favorite places to be is chillin' in the recliner
Me and Cal enjoying some morning family time with Daddy

Mom, Dr. Zielinsky, and Calvin
-We were so lucky to have Dr. Z as our OB/GYN. Not only did he make sure that Calvin & I came through the pregnancy happy and healthy but he made us laugh the whole way. Thanks Dr. Zielinsky!

My slippers fit!!!

Spending time with Aunt Patti

My hero

Wazz Up Dude?

Chillin' with my posse

It's tiring wearing so many stripes

We have found that Calvin sleeps very soundly when lying on our bed surrounded by either us or pillows. Note--he now has his own radio complete with a lighted tropical picture.

Still sportin' the beanie

Play time!

Play time takes it out of me--good thing Daddy's cozy

Rockin' in my car seat

Mornings with Mom

Oh, did you see what I did?

Ah, me, my sling, & Duckie--the world is now cozy

Let me introduce you to Cash Dean Garlinghouse, Calvin's newest cousin.

Tummy Time

Tummy time requires a strong buddy system...my Daddy & my duck

See my little "pony tail"?

Hey Duckie, waz up?

I did it! I turned my head again!

Hey, I found you!

Check out how much I've grown

First week in 2008

Here's blue eyes...well, so far

Stretching is a wonderful past time...

...and being swaddled is the cherry on top

Ah, relaxing tummy time

This was the first time that Calvin was entertained by his rotating mobile and vibrating bassinet for any length of time, 1/3/08

Legs still go in the frog pose from time to time

I like the vampire pose---just like Daddy, i.e. we're both up at night, asleep all day, and dislike too much light

The vampire pose

The bib says it all---lovable

Mornings, snuggling with Mom & Dad are the best
