One Year Photos

Early this month we had Calvin's 1 year photos taken which included some family pictures as well. Each day this year we have been blessed to watch Calvin explore and learn not only about himself and his abilities but about his world. In this time we have learned much about out new family of three as well as how to accept and flow with change, an unavoidable and constant part of life. We have also been fortunate to share many of this years' special moments with our family. Here's to another year of joy, laughter, tears, and growth.

FYI a CD of the photos will be given to the grandparents and Great Aunt Ginger.

Visit with Deepthi & Family

Early this month we were fortunate to be able to spend the afternoon with my friend Deepthi and her wonderful family. Calvin loved playing with Deepthi & Hari's two daughters and was smitten by Deepthi's Mom, who is visiting from India. This week Deepthi's mom will return home and take Aadya with her for a few months until Deepthi, Hari, & Neha can join them; we wish them safe travels and wonderful adventures.

Calvin had an excellent birthday last week. He spent time playing with Mommy & Daddy, he learned to turn the TV on and off, and he had his first taste of sparkling cider.

My mom's visit was full of fun. Calvin got to play with Christmas decorations, open presents, read stories, attend Thanksgiving and have his 1st birthday part...all during Grandmom Teresa's stay.

Cal's 1st Birthday Party

Last Friday we threw Calvin's 1st Brithday Party at Uncle Kevin and Aunt Krisite's. To celebrate this amazing time for Cal many of our friends and family were able to join us; to all those who could not attend we know you were there in spirit.
