Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday Clint surprised Calvin and me with a ride on the River Train to a pumpkin patch. We had an amazing ride on the train and a teriffic time at the pumpkin patch; at the pumpkin patch Clint and Cal picked out their own pumpkins. During the train ride a very nice man played his guitar and sang to each car on the train...he took a shine to Cal and would occassionally throw Cal's name into the song. Upon our return to Woodland we ate lunch at Browns Corner Bar and Grill; most of the food they serve is homemade and exceptionally good.

We Love You

Shortly after the Celtic Festival Clint & Grandma Sally traveled to Salem, OR to comfort Aunt Mary in her battle with cancer and to provide support for our Oregonian family members in their time of need; those of us in the Sacramento area keep them in our hearts and thoughts. With Karyn, Richard, and Zack's help Clint has been able to spend 4 days in OR with our family. We cannot thank the Speakman's enough for their hospitality and love. Tomorrow night Clint will be on his way home, leaving Grandma Sally in OR; we love and miss you both.

Honey-- Here are the pics you've been wanting, taken today.

On September 27th we, and many of our family, we're able to spend the day together at Celtic Festival in Grass Valley, CA.

AJ & Auntie Kathleen were giving Cal important Celtic advice...
