We began our Thanksgiving Day by decorating our Christmas tree. When I was young my mom and I would always trim the tree the day after Thanksgiving, since Mom was at our house this year I thought she could help with our tree. Mom was able to come down from Humboldt to join us for Thanksgiving and Cal's birthday party (thrown on Friday 11/27). Shortly after triming the tree we set off for a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family at Karyn & Rich's house.
