Going Home

The night before check out the boys went home for a good night's sleep. First thing in the morning they came to the hospital to see us home.

This is the first video of Evangeline and I post surgery. Comic relief was provided by Uncle Kevin and Daddy. Grandmom Teresa is on the phone reporting the news to family and friends and although she reported that Ev was 7 lb 11oz she was in fact 7 lb 14 oz.

Evangeline Celesta

Welcome to the world, baby Evvy!

Evangeline was born yesterday around 2:30 pm.

She weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz.

(one pound and one ounce more than Cal weighed when he was born)

She has sweet chubby cheeks, lots of brown hair and sleeps a lot...for now!

Since Tara and Clint are still at the hospital, they have asked me (Karyn) to post pictures of the new baby for all of you to see. Tara and baby Evvy are doing just fine and should probably be home some time on Thursday.

Cal is staying with Auntie Karyn, Uncle Rich and Zack while Mommy is in the hospital. Last night, Cal, Auntie Karyn and Auntie Patti drove to Sacramento to meet Baby Ev. Cal was so excited to see his baby sister for the first time. He gave lots of kisses and brought her a babydoll and a balloon :)

Teeth

After successfully attending his first dentist appointment and currently working on getting his 2 year molars, he is much more aware of his teeth (he's showing them off in this picture).

Yard Work

Cal and Clint have been doing a lot of work in the garage and outside (front & back yard). Cal loves any chance to be outside and especially likes the opportunitites to help Daddy.
