New Adventures...

For the first time Calvin stayed awake for a good portion of our 4 mile walk; he was awake for about 20 minutes or so--pretty good for our little guy

It's Belly Time!

Battle of the Thumb...

And now the thumb has become a companion...

Even after Cal was awake, it took another 10 minutes of coaxing to get him to pull out his thumb and eat

Even while laying in my arms, the thumb was top priority...

Finally, he chose to remove the thumb, hunger won

And here he is in one of his favorite positions for burpping...

And back to sleep we go

The best part of the day...

First thing, when Clint wakes up, is to spend time with his son.

This was first thing this morning and Clint was trying to gently wake Cal so they could spend some quiet time together before the diaper changing and feeding cycle started again.

Calvin loves sleeping in my Snoogle maternity pillow curled up in blankets made by family (the duck blanket was made by Aunt Karyn and the Pooh blanket was made by his Great Grammie Diane).

In utero Calvin was in a Frank breech position (butt down with feet by his head) and still likes to keep his feet as close to his chest as possible; he is slowly begining to stretch his legs away from his chest, next comes the arms.

Calvin finds it pretty easy to relax and unwind when he lays on Daddy's chest
